“Moomba is Australia’s largest free community festival and remains one of Melbourne’s favourite annual events. Presented by the City of Melbourne, it has been bringing Melburnians together in a spirit of celebration for more than 56 years.”
Breakfast in Melbourne is delicious! This weekend we went to La Chica in Balaclava, I had the breakfast burrito; this is how amazing it looked, it tasted fanatastic too!!

For the first 6months I lived in Melbourne, we had limited internet and no oven. It was horrible to say the least. Now we finally living in a nice old apartment buliding with wooden floor boards and big windows! And an oven! So for the first time since moving here tonight I made chocolate chip cookies!
Since moving to Melbourne I have become a custom to using public transport. Most days public transport is fun, the people watching and time to think is great, but other days, usually when it’s raining and the trains are delayed and therefore packed full of wet, dog smelling individuals, I wish I had my own transport, preferably a VW Kombi! These are everywhere in my new suburb, every day I see at least two, it’s tormenting!
Chapel Street, Melbourne.
I recently moved to Melbourne, Australia!! Life here is amazing! This is one of my favourite places so far! Fabulous shopping, food and bars. And the people are all outrageous! Whether it’s their insanely wonderful fashion, the beautiful music talents of (some of) the buskers or the loopy people roaming the streets enjoying living life in their own little world, Chapel Street, and Melbourne in general is fantastic!
